{"id":6,"date":"2024-11-29T11:24:17","date_gmt":"2024-11-29T11:24:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.york.ac.uk\/digital-accessibility\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2026-01-27T11:32:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T11:32:09","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.york.ac.uk\/digital-accessibility\/home\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital Accessibility Unit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supporting and developing everyone for greater <strong>digital accessibility<\/strong> at York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.york.ac.uk\/about\/departments\/support-and-admin\/student-education-experience\/#student-success\">Student Success Unit<\/a> under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.york.ac.uk\/about\/departments\/support-and-admin\/student-education-experience\">Student Education and Experience<\/a> Directorate.<br>The Digital Accessibility Unit is dedicated to fostering accessible learning and working environments, providing guidance and support to both staff and students. For staff, we build confidence and skills to create accessible systems, accessible teaching materials, and inclusive digital resources. For students, we collaborate to enhance their experience with accessible teaching, assessment and digital tools, ensuring equitable access to learning.
