Applications close tomorrow (Wednesday 16 October 2020).
In response to the coronavirus pandemic and the financial impact it is having on our students, the University, supported by donations from alumni and friends, has created an Emergency Student Support Fund (ESSF) and IT Equipment Bursary for students and new starters who need immediate financial support during these challenging times.
What the funding covers
- The ESSF will provide bursaries of up to £500 to help students with current issues, including housing and food insecurity, equipment for online learning and other financial challenges.
- An IT Equipment Bursary of up to £500 is also available for those facing financial difficulties to assist with the cost of purchasing personal IT equipment to access online learning (e.g. a laptop).
How to apply for funding
Applications for the ESSF and IT Equipment Bursaries will be open from Wednesday 9 September 2020 at 2pm (British Summer Time) and close on Wednesday 16 September at 2pm.
Is there any way to apply for this funding after the 16/09 as i have only just found out about it and think it would be extremely helpful.
