Offering the chance for PGRs to share ideas in a supportive and friendly environment, the day also offers an important opportunity to network in these fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keynote speaker: <\/strong>Dr Corey Wrenn (University of Kent, International Association of Vegan Sociologists, American Sociological Association, The Vegan Society, <em>Student Journal of Vegan Sociology, The Sociology Quarterly, Society &amp; Animals<\/em>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deadline for abstract submission &#8211; 7 March 2022. <\/strong>The BSA are welcoming abstracts from PGRs who feel their research fits within one or more of the following themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Veganism and\/or Vegetarianism as lifestyle choice(s)<\/li><li>Veganism and\/or Vegetarianism as social movement(s)<\/li><li>Social change and corresponding changes vis-a-vis Veganism and\/or Vegetarianism<\/li><li>Changes in farming, business practices and manufacturing in response to the above,<\/li><li>Animal and human interactions<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Programme announced and general registration open &#8211; 14 March 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>British Sociological Member &#8211; \u00a35<\/li><li>Non-member &#8211; \u00a315<\/li><li>Vegan lunch and refreshments are included throughout the day.
