Although the main round of applications closed in April 2023, the YLTA team are delighted to announce they still have a small number of places on this year’s course, and will be extending the process to a second round offering places on a first-come-first served basis to applicants who meet the essentials criteria. Applications will next be reviewed in the week commencing the 17 July 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Starting in September, the York Learning and Teaching Award (YLTA) is a part-time course to support GTAs develop their understanding of and skills for teaching in the Higher Education sector, using self-study materials, peer-support systems and supervisory support by an experienced academic.
