But constant criticism has a cost. Moreover, research is fraught with knockbacks from journals, job applications and funding rejections. How we build our confidence and retain our self-belief is pivotal to our success as academic professionals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This session on Monday 27 January will focus on the Inner Game of being a researcher.
