This team is based in Careers and Placements and connects students with local schools, charities and social enterprises in York and delivered 93 projects from Sept 2020 – Dec 2022. Surveys were undertaken by participants before and after participation, plus interviews with community partners. The team now needs a qualitative research assistant to analyse the data captured and help produce recommendations for the further development of evaluation methodology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The post needs someone with strong research skills, particularly experience of qualitative research analysis of surveys and interviews; excellent written and verbal communication skills; good attention to detail; knowledge of research ethics and integrity; ability to work independently and as part of a team; an interest in volunteering and it’s benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a great opportunity to extend your qualitative research skills and create a report that will inform an emerging area of national interest, whilst also gaining insight into community engaged learning and professional support services in HE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
