We’re looking for current PhD students to share their experiences in the How to Survive your PhD<\/a><\/em> project to help support and inspire fellow PhDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Survive \/ Thrive in your PhD: guidebook<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are currently looking for someone with design skills to help with updating and redesigning the accompanying ‘PhD Survival’ guidebook (View a copy of the current booklet here<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Survive \/ Thrive in your PhD: online panel discussions and Q&As<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These ‘Survival’ workshops are organised by PhD students and post-docs for other PhD students, to offer peer support and advice. They aim to create safe spaces for discussing various aspects of the PhD experience, and to share personal insights and advice that students won’t find through official channels. More information about the workshops and an online guide can be found on this website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll work with the PGR liaison officer<\/a>, Jamie Khoo, and other volunteers to plan and speak at these workshops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a great chance to be a part of an important, peer-led activity that strongly supports the PGR community. You’ll also gain valuable skills in project management\/event organisation and receive a certificate of participation from the University to add to your CV and portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
