In collaboration with The PhD Survival Project, we recently held an online discussion on “How to Survive Public Engagement and Research Communication”. The session was hosted by our very own Jamie Khoo (PGR Liaison Officer), with contributions from a range speakers – including 3 Minute Thesis<\/a> and PhD Spotlight<\/a> competition winners, Falling Walls finalists and people who have gained large readerships for their published writing in non-specialist blogs\/websites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They discussed their personal process of preparing for and participating in public engagement events, and also shared insider tips for communicating your research confidently and effectively, and how to overcome challenges in the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
