It will provide a set of tools and skills to help you immediately be more effective working in, and with, industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn about career routes in industry to access the jobs you want; and gain know-how that lets you engage with industry with more confidence by using the \u201clanguage of business\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The master class series will run over 6 weeks and will be delivered by Skillfluence. The modules include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7th July 14:00 \u2013 16:00 &#8211; Why Connect with Industry <\/strong>&#8211; Gain a better understanding of the importance of connecting with industry in the context of your personal and professional goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14th July 14:00 \u2013 16:00 Understanding Industry <\/strong>\u2013 Enhance your knowledge of an industry of your choice, while learning a process for understanding the key dynamics of any industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>21st July 14:00 \u2013 16:00 Understanding Business<\/strong> \u2013 Learn how to understand the motivations of any business, helping you to effectively engage with businesses as an employee or an external resource.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>28th July 14:00 \u2013 16:00 Careers in Industry<\/strong> \u2013 Investigate possible career paths and learn how to position yourself to potential employers in a way that maximises your value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4th August 14:00 \u2013 16:00 Communicating with Industry<\/strong> \u2013 Explore strategies for communicating your research at multiple levels and sharing complex ideas in a way that is relevant and business focused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11th August 14:00 \u2013 16:00 Networking with Industry<\/strong> \u2013 Grow your network, build relationships and connect with key influencers to broaden your options and create opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will need to confirm they are able to attend all 6 sessions, the format of each module includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Self-study lessons on our eLearning platform<\/li><li>6 x weekly 75 minute participative webinars with breakout groups<\/li><li>6 x weekly 45 minute conversations with industry and business professionals after each webinar to gain insider insights and expertise<\/li><li>Individual application activities with marked assignments and feedback<\/li><li>Completion Certificate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in applying please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/w32fsQWx2RH1g9p57\">expression of interest form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that places are limited to 30.
