Podcast series"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Careers and Placements have launched season 7 of the &#8216;What do you actually do ?&#8217; podcast with,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/anchor.fm\/what-do-you-actually-do\/episodes\/Talking-census-a-career-in-genealogy--with-Christina-Copland-eohpnp\" target=\"_blank\">Talking census: a career in genealogy<\/a>. Christina studied BA Archaeology at UCL, MA in History at York followed by a History PhD in the USA, where she now works for family history company Ancestry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also coming up this term:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W\/C 4th Feb: John Filby, Clinical Scientist in the NHS specialising in genomics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W\/C 15th Feb: Luke D&#8217;Arcy, UK President of Momentum Worldwide (marketing and experiential advertising agency).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W\/C 1st Mar: Ian Henderson, Academic Clinical Fellow in the NHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W\/C 15th Mar: Alison Critchley, Technology Delivery Manager at Co-op (working in agile project management).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are now 34 episodes available, some of which feature PhD graduates. You can find them on\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/york.ac.uk\/careers\/podcast\" target=\"_blank\">the Careers website<\/a>\u00a0or via your favourite platform &#8211; just search for &#8216;What do you actually do&#8217;.
