students’ union<\/a> (YUSU), so unfortunately, places such as Browns (A sandwich shop close to the Uni) and Cecils (a kebab shop on Campus East) won’t be making this list.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAnd now, in no particular order…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vanbrugh Dining <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I have one word – Burritos. Vanbrugh makes the most amazing burritos out there. They are legendary in status. Everyone wants to queue for a Vanbrugh Burrito (a Vurrito<\/em>). But if you don’t like burritos, fret not, they have a wide variety of choices. There’s East Asian cuisine, fish and chips, pizzas and much more. They sell hot and cold drinks and have a cold section with in-house stuffed baguettes. 10\/10, highly recommend. <\/p>\n\n\n\nLastly, I just wanted to say that the staff are so lovely! They are some of the sweetest people in the world \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Library Caf\u00e9 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Library Caf\u00e9 serves Costa drinks and has a delicious menu. They are most famous for their paninis and jacket potatoes. It’s mostly quite busy as everyone studying in the library comes for a drink every so often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Link <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Link serves Starbucks drinks and has a wide variety of food and cakes. I would highly recommend their bao buns and their curry bowls. They also serve cold sandwiches and baguettes. This place is almost always crowded around lunchtime, so prepare for a bit of a queue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cookies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Cookies is famous for their cookies. I can assure you these are the best cookies out there, especially the chocolate chip and double chocolate cookies. They also do baguettes, sandwiches, drinks and pastries. They serve some of the best toasties (I highly recommend the tuna toastie). Also, do try out their cinnamon rolls. Out of all the places on the list, I have been visiting Cookies daily since my first year! And the staff are really friendly and fantastic! 10\/10. Go get a cookie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Honourable Mentions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Kitchen. Excellent selection of cakes and a popular caf\u00e9 to sit and study in. They sell drinks and some food. This place is always crowded and is one of the more popular places to eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Courtyard. Great selection of burgers and pizzas. Also doubles up as a bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Glasshouse. Great selection of burgers and food. One of the most popular areas on Campus East!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
