Hey there! My name is Beth and I’m in my second year studying Bioarchaeology here at York. Here is my results day story:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What happened on results day?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I received an email from York, which was my first choice university, confirming my place. This meant that I knew I hadn’t done too badly as I must have got the grades for York. This made opening my results much less stressful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your top tips for results day?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Don’t worry too much about other people’s results<\/strong>. Everyone has different outcomes which they are hoping for. Someone may have needed to do exceptionally well to get into their university. You only need to have got the results that get you where you want to and not worry about beating all your friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did you choose York?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Coming from a small village I didn’t want to go anywhere big and scary and York is a beautiful city<\/strong>. I love the campus with its nice green spaces and the college system is also great. As an archaeology student, I am based in King’s Manor in town which is such an amazing place to study. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s the one piece of advice you\u2019d give yourself if you had to go through it all again?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Don’t stress so much! Everything will be fine! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
