Hello! I’m Ana and I study Social Policy, Crime, and Criminal Justice at the University of York. The waiting period before coming to university could be both a time of excitement and curiosity, but also worries and stress. Thus, I just wanted to give you an insight into some of the facilities that you can enjoy while being on campus. My piece will focus mainly on the new eco-friendly building on Church Lane. I will mention why it was built, where you can find it and the opportunities it offers. One of my favourite spots for both learning and relaxing is the café because it has just enough of everything to make everyone happy. I hope that my blog will give you more confidence that regardless of the difficulties that appear while moving away from home, York is indeed a nice and inclusive place to be!
