Welcome to the University of York’s Marketing team blog. We’ll use this blog to share the things that we’re working on with the rest of the University community and beyond.
About the Marketing team
We’re a team of around 45 people, working from The Hive in Heslington village. We work across four main areas of marketing and comms:
- Brand development
- Student recruitment marketing
- Research and reputation marketing
- Internal comms for staff and students
We work with people around the whole University to plan, coordinate, write, code and design materials such as prospectuses, banners, leaflets, web pages, advertising, digital screens, e-mail newsletters… and much more.
About the blog platform
We’re using this Marketing blog to pilot a new platform which we’re hoping to roll out to other University teams in the future. As work on that progresses, we’ll post updates here and via other channels so anyone interested can get involved when the opportunity arises.
