The Treehouse (Berrick Saul Building)
Come and hear in this short session about some of the innovative and creative things that postgraduates did at last year’s Festival Fringe family fun afternoon, and learn how you can be part of the event (on Saturday 6 June) at this year’s Festival of Ideas. We are seeking exciting and lightly educative activities that young people from the local community can take part in and enjoy.
Postgraduates (both on taught courses and on research degrees) from across the University are invited to think up fun and creative activities based loosely on their areas of research. The Humanities Research Centre will sponsor those activities proposed that will work best as part of this year’s Festival Fringe afternoon.
This is an energetic and exciting day of community engagement in the University year. Everyone is welcome to come along and find out more to see if you would like to be involved.
Hello Christine,
I’m unable to come along to the talk on Wednesday, but I participated in 2016 and I might have an idea for this year. Who would I be best to approach to discuss any ideas further? Also, will there be a way of connecting with other students to develop a project?
Many thanks,
Louise
Ah ha! Don’t worry, I’ve answered my own question 🙂 https://www.york.ac.uk/hrc/postgraduate/opportunities/fringe-fun/call-for-activities/
