Introduction to Intellectual Property with Vitae & the Government IP Office

This training session will provide a detailed overview of the ways in which you can protect your ideas and the main types of intellectual property rights including patents, copyright, and trademarks and branding.
This one day training event will be led by Vitae and the Governmental Intellectual Property Office. This training will also have input from University staff offering support at York and information on who to go to for help. Astrid Lorenz from Symbiosis IP will provide IP case studies on staff they have supported at York, including filing for patents.
