Would you like to improve your general English language skills?
Guided and led by lecturer James Chantry, final year undergraduate students in the Language and Linguistic Science department are offering free English language classes, as part of their teacher training modules.
The classes will be aimed at English language learners at an Upper-Intermediate / low-Advanced level of proficiency, and focus on a range of language skills including speaking, listening, reading, grammatical accuracy and pronunciation work. (Please note that the focus will not be on academic usage or writing skills.)
Classes will take place on the first four Fridays of Term 3 (22 April, 29 April, 6 May and 13 May 2022), from 13:00-16:00 (including a break) in the Spring Lane Building on Campus West. Up to 14 spaces are available for the classes, however, please note you must be able to attend and commit all four sessions to be considered for a place.
