The University has committed to enhancing support for Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) supervisors. The York PG Research Supervisor Programme includes completion of the mandatory online ‘Being an Effective Research Supervisor Tutorial’ (BERST); a set of comprehensive web resources and a programme of workshops. FAQs about the requirements are also available. These new changes are reflected in the revised Policy on Research Degree Programmes (section 5.12 – 5.19).
