York 3 Minute Thesis is back for 2023 – and we’re incredibly proud to be celebrating our 10th anniversary running this exciting event!
Open to current PhD researchers at the University of York, you’ll have just three minutes each to communicate the impact of your research to an audience made up of university staff, members of the general public, and industry.
The 2023 3MT final at York will take place on 14th June 2023.
Applications are open from 1st March – 31st March 2023, 5pm (BST) – Apply here
Before you apply, please ensure:
- You are a current University of York PhD researcher, and have passed your first Progression Meeting, but not yet completed your Viva
- You are available from 3pm on 14th June 2023 (on campus) to take part in the final
- You are available on 19th April 2023 for auditions on campus, 16th May 2023 (AM) for online training, and 2nd June 2023 (09:00-15:00, on campus) for a review session.
