Job opportunity: Academic Skills Community Workshop Support Person

An ASC Workshop Support Person provides technical support to the workshop leader before, during and after an ASC on-line workshop via Zoom, or whatever on-line platform is being used.

You will control the waiting room for the session, manage breakout groups, deal with practical issues arising as the workshop is running, such as helping the workshop facilitator to add links in the chatbox, share screens and documents with the attendees and ensure the session runs as smoothly as possible. You will also monitor the chatbox, communicating relevant information to the workshop leader as necessary.

This job is only open to students who are currently studying for a PhD at the University of York.

Language requirement: IELTS 7.0/Grade B GCSE English

You will be paid £15.43 per hour plus holiday pay.
