Things to look forward to about Sociology at York

I’m Lucy and I’m studying Criminology at the University of York.

I’m here to tell you about the reasons why you should be excited about your upcoming time at York! York is an incredibly unique city and the campus is gorgeous. The Sociology staff are welcoming and friendly. You’ll meet so many people and study a diverse range of topics during your time at York.

Some of my favourite Sociology-related opportunities have been getting involved with the events the staff host, and the modules I’ve chosen this year. Everyone’s time at university is different and York is the perfect place to be a student as you can make the most of whatever interests you. These next three years will hopefully be some of the best years of your life!
