What’s open on campus?

Following on from the launch of the Book Takeaway Service, you can now book socially distanced study spaces in the Library.

Initially, the number of bookable spaces across library buildings has been limited but from Monday 10 August all library study spaces in the Fairhurst, Morrell and Burton will be made available through the booking system.

Food and drink

Park Central, based at York Science Park, is open for takeaways with a reduced menu. You can also use Deliveroo to order food from Vedge, including some of the campus favourites such as Vedge bowls, burritos and pizzas. Order on the Deliveroo app or website for delivery or pick up from Roger Kirk Centre Cafe.

Nisa is open in Market Square (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm) and Kimberlow Hill (8am-10pm 7 days a week).

York Sport Village

York Sport Village is aiming to reopen on Monday 10 August. Indoor facilities at York Sport Centre will follow from Tuesday 1 September. Find out more.

Unity Health

The Unity Health Kimberlow Hill surgery is open but only seeing essential face to face patients. All appointments are via telephone and you should not go to the surgery unless a GP at Unity Health has told you to.

Don’t forget that Colleges, the Student Hub and Open Door are all available and continue to provide support (remotely) for your wellbeing.

Academic skills support is still available from the Writing and Language Skills Centre and the Maths Skills Centre. Take a look at online resources or book an online appointment via our study skills pages.
