The Emergency Student Support Fund has reopened – the first application deadline is Tuesday 17 November 2020.
The Emergency Student Support Fund (ESSF) aims to provide short-term financial support for the unanticipated needs of York students caused or exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Students can apply for a maximum of £500 of non-repayable funding.
All current students who are fully-registered at the University of York on a degree-awarding programme (UG, PGT or PGR, full- or part-time) are eligible to apply for ESSF funding.
The funding can be used for:
- food/living costs
- health-related costs
- accommodation
- travel expenses
- study-related costs
- IT equipment costs
The first deadline for applications is Tuesday 17 November. Additional applications will be accepted until the final deadline of Tuesday 24 November.
