Two new guides to co-producing research with the public

With funding from the Wellcome Trust and the University via theĀ Centre for Future Health (CFH), two new guides to co-producing research with the public have been created.

Guide to Co-production with the Public for Researchers
This reference manual for researchers covers everything from underpinning principles, to techniques and methods, through to handling the practicalities and ethics of projects. It also includes a number of project design and planning templates and case studies of successful projects by York researchers.

Stronger Together: a guide for co-researchers working on co-produced projects
This is an illustrated introductory guide to co-producing research for sharing with members of the public as part of their recruitment and induction onto a new project.

Both guides can be found on the Library’s Open Research: Citizen science web page. Read how the guides came about on the Centre for Future Heath’s web pages.
