Research students needed for new Community Projects Facilitator Roles

Careers and Placements are recruiting a team of postgraduate students to help facilitate Community Projects over the summer term.  These are part time, paid roles, and would suit those who are interested in developing their teaching and facilitation experience and gaining experience in the heritage, sustainability or voluntary sectors.

Community Projects will be delivered by teams of undergraduate volunteers, and the role of the postgraduate facilitator is to help the team work together to deliver their project by the end of the summer term. Projects will initially take place remotely. Find out more about the projects here

As a facilitator you will gain experience of coaching, networking with employers and project management, whilst also receiving ongoing support from the Volunteering team in Careers and Placements.

Projects will run across the summer term from April 19 – June 25th with additional training dates to be confirmed. Post holders are expected to work a total of 37 hours across this period on a flexible basis. Payment will be at a rate of £13.45 per hour.
