Middle Ground event – normalising conversations about race

The University of York’s Student Expert Panel is hosting a Middle Ground event to normalise conversations around race.

Middle Ground – normalising conversations about race
Wednesday 10 November 2021

5.30-7pm
Bowland Auditorium (BS/005) in the Berrick Saul Building

The event will focus on the issues faced by Black students, normalising difficult conversations and encouraging individuals to understand and recognise different perspectives. This will be a panel-style event addressing different topics and discussing a number of statements, however we are really keen that as many people as possible are able to contribute, particularly those who often speak up less, so everyone can get involved and the event isĀ open to all University of York staff and students.

Refreshments and nibbles will be provided.
