The Careers and Placements team will be carrying out a research project this summer in order to understand more about how postgraduate researchers (PGRs) approach career planning, their views on the careers and employability provision at York, and whether the pandemic and changing labour market has had an impact on their career decision making. The results will help the Careers team and other providers of professional development for PGRs to review and develop activities and resources that are engaging and accessible.
We are seeking an intern to lead this research project, which will involve a literature review, questionnaire survey, focus groups and analysis and write-up of the findings. The post is for 15 hours a week on a flexible basis, with the expectation of a June start date.
Information about this internship and how to apply for it can be found on Handshake. Deadline for applications is 8th May with an expected interview date of 25th May. This position is brought to you by York Internships
