Although the main round of applications closed in April 2023, the YLTA team are delighted to announce they still have a small number of places on this year’s course, and will be extending the process to a second round offering places on a first-come-first served basis to applicants who meet the essentials criteria. Applications will next be reviewed in the week commencing the 17 July 2023.
About the York Learning and Teaching AwardÂ
Starting in September, the York Learning and Teaching Award (YLTA) is a part-time course to support GTAs develop their understanding of and skills for teaching in the Higher Education sector, using self-study materials, peer-support systems and supervisory support by an experienced academic. YLTA is accredited by Advance HE to award Associate Fellow of the HEA (AFHEA) to those who successfully complete the course.
