The first one day ‘Race’ and Socially Engaged Research: Postgraduate and Early Careers’ Conference will take place in early September 2023 (date TBC).
This postgraduate-led interdisciplinary conference aims to provide an interactive and supportive space for postgraduate and early career social science researchers to present their research and network with peers across the country. The conference is led by a collaborative group of PhD students from the University of York and York St John University.
The conference theme this year is ‘Disrupting Structural Racism and Building Communities of Dissent through Transformative Research’ and we encourage postgraduate and early career researchers interested in these areas to attend the conference as a presenter (verbal or poster) or delegate.
If you are interested in presenting or attending the conference, please submit an expression of interest alongside a 50-100 word summary of your research by Monday 3 July 2023.
