The Department of Psychology is seeking a part-time Research Associate to work with Dr. Karisha Kimone George on an Enhancing Research Culture funded project to develop an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Research Centre. The Centre will be particularly focused on supporting research in relation to areas such as:
- decolonising research practice
- destabilising systemic inequalities
- pioneering innovative pedagogical practices which increase engagement among underrepresented
student groups, and - developing inclusive research methods and methodologies
The post will involve running a series of focus groups to develop an understanding of core research projects that should be undertaken in each of these areas. These research projects will form the basis of a small research funding call to be launched next academic year.
