Biology PhD student, Theo Issitt, is competing in the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) national final tomorrow.
Theo won the York 3MT competition earlier this year. He has now been selected out of a thousand researchers as one of the final six in the national final.
Theo’s talk, ‘The smell of cells’, focuses on his research investigating the chemical signals released by cancer cells to aid in creating diagnostic breath tests for cancer patients.

The national final takes place on Friday 10 September from 12.15pm to 1pm and the audience will be able to vote for their People’s Choice winner after all presentations have been given.
