Worried about the impact of Covid-19 on your research programme?

Various contingency measures remain in place to help you deal with any impact that Covid-19 may have had on your research and consequently on progression, submission and examination:

Progression

If you are concerned about progression please speak to your supervisor. You can opt to submit a Covid progression statement to explain to your progression panel how your research changed as a consequence of the Covid-19 restrictions.

Submission

If you believe that you will not be able to submit your thesis on time due to the impact of Covid-19 (and you are within 3 months of the submission date), you can request an extension. Extensions requests due to the impact of Covid-19 will be looked upon sympathetically and with an appreciation that it may not be possible to obtain some forms of Covid-19-related evidence.
