Chunking up content for our international guides

Earlier this year we had the opportunity to consolidate two printed publications aimed at prospective international students. This was a really satisfying piece of work as we’ve made significant improvements in terms of content and design.

Raising our Profile

The introduction to Profile 2020 begins by declaring the University’s “unlimited ambitions”. This sentiment refers not only to the exciting possibilities of the future, but also to our York Unlimited campaign, which is helping hundreds of York students realise their potential today.

Six reasons why the choice is (the) York (Marketing team)

Stuff in my life means that I’m moving away from York and so I’m coming to the end of my time with the Marketing team. I don’t know how many people can say that they’re genuinely sad to leave a team, so I feel lucky to be able to say that I do.

A makeover for Equality

On Monday 7 October, the Equality and Diversity Office announced the arrival of a completely new set of webpages for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University.

360 captures: Seeing things from all sides

We’ve been using 360 capture to showcase our accommodation for a couple of years now, but it was only this year that we realised that they could be a great way of letting students into our academic facilities too.

Using (technical) magic to make life simpler

Every week, the Staff Digest is sent to all our staff and associate staff, sharing University announcements, details of training opportunities, chances to become involved in research, events, achievements and more.

Real-time coverage of events on social media

The purpose of the University’s social media channels is to showcase what we do as an institution, enhancing our reputation as somewhere to live, learn and work. Part of this is sharing what’s happening on campus, as it happens.
