Hi there!

My name is Felix, I am a student Mental Health Nurse here at York, currently studying in my second year.

Nursing stood out to me as a distinct career path since I began working in secure mental health services when I was 18. Studying at York was a very wise choice and has opened up so many opportunities for me: I’ve been to Westminster to lobby MPs about nursing education and how that’s funded, I’ve attended workshops in London and met innovators and leaders in the nursing field, plus I’ve been published in the Royal College of Nursing bulletin. When I started this course, I never thought I’d have achieved these things.
